Choosing a team affix took us an age and we came up with a variety of suggestions over a few months, some were good, some were not. We decided to plump for the Norwegian word 'Finneskoe' or literally Finnish Shoe, a generic term for the type of furry boots worn by those from northern climes like Eskimos and also Arctic and Antarctic explorers, particularly in the days of Capt Scott (I don't suppose his would not have been as jazzy as those above)...so, 'Furryboots' it became.
Finneskoe = 'Furry Boots', as in- 'Furryboots are ye fae min?
